Santeria Shrine

Santeria shrines are common in many Cuban households but are rarely shown to outsiders or allowed to be photographed. They often fill an entire room and Catholic artefacts may also be displayed elsewhere in the house. I was very lucky to be given permission to photograph these shrines in the small town of Jovellanos and Matanzas.
