Hugh Masakela R.I.P.
The great South African hornsman and civil rights campaigner Hugh Masakela has just died. Often called 'The Father of South African Jazz', he is widely regarded as one of the main forces behind Afro-Jazz. His political activism against the apartheid regime which he protested against around the world is an equally important part of his legacy.
